Hope Day

Hope Day Event held in June brought many people and fun

New Hope Church and Shelter Rock Church was sponsoring a Massive, Fun-Filled, Family-Friendly BLOCK PARTY (And everything was FREE!)  at Carman Avenue Green Park – 801 Carman Ave in Westbury (by Carvel).

Hope Day is for everyone and is held to encourage families from the community, especially those who struggle financially.

Hope Day began in 2012 with a single event in Uniondale. Missouri-based Convoy of Hope, which has helped spearhead similar events nationwide for years, provides logistical, training and other assistance. Local churches sponsor the events, along with local and national nonprofits and businesses.
