Veterans Stand Down Held at the Freeport Armory

Military veterans in need of help patiently waited in line to receive services on Long Island. The event is known as the Veterans Stand Down held at the Freeport Armory. It was a day devoted to the men and women who fought courageously for our country. Clothing, job counseling, non-perishable foods, haircuts and dental work are just some of the things provided free of charge.
